Bart thinks that blogs are the stupidest thing he has ever heard of. He makes fun of me all the time even though I tell him this is my way of scrapbooking and making a journal. So he would be pleased that I am writing all about him. This was so fun to think back. Thanks Tara!


What is your husband's name? Bart Johnson Brockbank

How long have you guys been married? Almost 11 years

How long did you date? That depends which time we are talking about..........He was my first boyfriend in seventh grade, then off and on for the following ten years. I am not kidding we dated for a year here, and month there, and a night every now and again. (Just Kidding!)
When we started dating right before we got married we started in March and got married that July.

How old is he? 33 but more importantly older than I am

Who eats more sweets? For sure me. Bart hardly eats any sugar.

Who said I love you first? Bart said it to me through a third person story he was telling.

Who is taller? I am 5'2" you can't get much shorter than that!

Who can sing best? Bart, I am horrible!

Who is smarter? Bart is more book smart, but I am for sure more street smart. He lacks common sense some times! We will be driving places and he will just forget how to get there. It is funny to see how embarrassed he gets when I catch him. Sometimes I wonder if that is why he gets home late, because he forgot the way.

Who does the laundry? Me, it is my favorite "mom" job.

Who pays the bills? Come on, I married an accountant. I tried for a while, it was a mess!

Who sleeps on the right side of the bed? I do, which is nice for Bart because I am the one who encounters the children first when they come in in the middle of the night.

Who mows the lawn? Lance the Lawn guy. I enjoy mowing the lawn but after my stripes last year I got grounded. Bart never even goes in our yard let alone do something when he gets there!

Who cooks dinner? I do. I have been trying to be better since Christmas.


Who drives? He does.

Who is the first to admit when they are wrong? ALWAYS me! I can't stand to be in a fight. So even if I am right I conceed just to not fight.

Who is more stubborn? Bart, I can be talked in or out of anything.

Who kissed who first? I really can't remember back then.

Who asked who out first? He asked me. (This is the dating segment after his mission.)

Who wears the pants? It depends on the situation. If I feel strongly about something I do. But mostly he does. He is pretty quiet until he puts his foot down and then I just as well give up.
